Is CBD safe for pets?
Yes, but there is more research that needs to be done. The studies on pet CBD so far have yet to show that CBD is anything but safe. But you should be sure to talk to your veterinarian before you start giving your pet any CBD. They will be able to guide you on whether or not CBD is right for your pet. There are also some negative side effects associated with CBD, but they are usually things like diarrhea and fatigue.
How much CBD do I give my pet?
Everyone's body chemistry is different, and the same goes for pets. That means that everyone's experience with CBD is going to be a little bit different. When you start giving your pet CBD, it's best to start with as little CBD as possible and wait to see how it affects them. If you don't notice any changes, you can try giving them a little bit more. But be careful not to increase the dose too much so that they don't experience any negative side effects.
Is CBD legal in the United States?
CBD is federally legal in the United States because of the 2018 Farm Bill. This version of the bill legalized hemp in the US, making CBD products made from hemp federally legal. However, every state can make its own laws about hemp and CBD. Some states may have yet to legalize it. Be sure to read up on your local hemp laws to be sure.
